Mr. Tracy Allen Joseph Adams, “BIRD”, age 43, of 275 Maple Road, Akwesasne, Quebec, died early Friday morning (June 20, 2008) from injuries he suffered following an ATV and vehicle accident on the River Road.
He was born September 29, 1964 in Cornwall, Ontario, the son of Roy and Joellene Mitchell Adams. He attended schools in Akwesasne and at General Vanier, Cornwall.
Tracy was an ironworker with Local #440, Utica. He loved spending time with his daughters Ashton and Aubrey. He was the type of person that loved teasing people.
He is survived by his parents, Roy and Joellene Adams, Akwesasne; by 2 daughters, Ashton and Aubrey Adams, both of Akwesasne; his sister, Della Adams, Akwesasne; his brother and his partner, Richard Adams and Tanya Barilko, Akwesasne; and by his former companion, Claudine White, Akwesasne.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Travis, Justin, Kwinon, Johnny, Jay, Krysta, Chad, River, Layla, Jaileigh, and Arrow; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends called beginning on Sunday evening at the home of his parents, River Road, Akwesasne, until a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at the St. Regis Catholic Church with Rev. George H. Belgarde, SJ, officiating. Cremation followed.
Arrangements are with the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena.
