These girls will be going to BC to compete in the 2008 Indigenous Games in August this summer. They have been very busy with practices along with their coaches Jocelyn Kelly, Bruce Kelly and Karen Francis.
The team began playing together when their regular season ended in February. The girls have been in a few tournaments. They are a young team with four 6th graders, two of them are playing their first year. They are working very hard at fundraising and getting set to go across Canada.
This team has made a lot of improvements and each of their coaches is very proud of them!
