Book: City of Bones

This book is a fantasy that is so well written that it could be real. I love this author; Cassandra Clare, who is one to watch out for. This book is a page turner and very exciting read.

Clary Fray has never considered herself as more then normal, until she witnesses a murder that was committed by men that only she can see. Clary reacts on instinct and tries to stop these men, only to find out that these aren’t just normal men. They are Shadowhunters, and the man they were trying to kill was a demon. Clary is put through a whirlwind of confusion. To top off this strange day, Clary goes home to find her mother has been kidnapped and a gruesome demon is in her mother’s bedroom, almost killing Clary with its attack. Clary, as well as the shadowhunters wish to find out how she can all of a sudden see them.

This book is great. The perfect blend of suspense and humor that will leave you wanting more; I know I do. I look forward to reading the second book entitled “City of Ashes” that she has written as a sequel to this…its going to be great.
