Potsdam College Women Hockey Club Team took first place in the playoffs at Syracuse University played on Saturday and Sunday.
They defeated Cornell 3-2, Niagara 3-2, and Syracuse 3-0. This was a big game because they had lost to them twice during regular season play. Potsdam played SUNY Brockport in the championship game and were victorious with a score of 6-1. NCCC, Colgate, University of Rochester also participated in the playoffs.
