Timothy J. Papineau, Jr.

Mr. Timothy J. “Sose” Papineau, Jr., age 27, of 62 Rourke Road, Hogansburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning (February 13, 2008) at Massena Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 10, 1981 in Cornwall, Ontario, the son Timothy J. Sr. and Carol Rourke Papineau.  He graduated from Salmon River Central School in 2001 and had taken Software Engineering courses through college correspondence online.

Tim enjoyed playing video games and was an avid Caroline Hurricanes hockey fan.  He also enjoyed listening to music and chatting on the Internet.

He is survived by his parents, Timothy and Carol, Hogansburg; by 3 sisters, Brenda, Isabel-Louise, and Karleigh Papineau, all of Hogansburg; by 2 brothers, Alfred Papineau and his companion, Jess Gronke, Hogansburg; Mackenzie Papineau, Hogansburg; 2 half sisters, Karrie Benedict, Snye, Quebec; Melissa Papineau, Hogansburg; by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Isabel Rourke, Hogansburg; 2 nephews, Trey and Ryan Papineau; a niece, Norah Benedict; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Mike Mathias and Louise Papineau.

Friends and family may beginning calling at the family home beginning Thursday 6:00 PM until Saturday 10:00 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 11:00 AM at the St. Regis Catholic Church with Rev George H. Belgarde, SJ, celebrating.  Spring burial will be in Kateri Cemetery, Hogansburg. Arrangements are with the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena.
