Ontario Power Generation makes donation to the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education

On Wednesday February 6th, a donation was made to AMBE from the Ontario Power Generation’s Corporate Citizenship Program, which provides support to environmental, educational and community initiatives in Ontario. The donation, in the amount of $1000, is meant to support AMBE’s after school programs.

Representing OPG, was Bob MacLaren, Production Manager of RH Saunders Generating Station.  Representing the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education was Barry Montour, Director of Education.

In addition to the monetary donation, Ontario Power Generation has also donated several reconditioned personal computers, which have now been set up in the computer labs within AMBE schools.
