Ella A. Jacco

Ella Ann Jacco, age 64, of 207 Leonard Street, Mattydale, NY, died Friday, January 18, 2008, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.  Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA., she was a nurse’s aide for 35 years.  She was always taking care of everyone and was “Ma” to everyone who knew her.  She was predeceased by her husband, Mitchell L. Jacco, Sr., in 1999 and by a daughter, Tina Jacco, in 2003.  Ella is survived by her daughter, Michelle Jacco of Mattydale; three sons, Mitchell Jr. (Michelle Frank) Jocko of Camillus, Robert (Christine) Jocko of DeWitt and Christopher (Donna White) Jocko of Syracuse; one sister, Ida VanChury of Wilkes-Barre, PA; one brother, Tony (Beverly) Greene of Wisconsin; her companion of 20 years, Karl Gill; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her family held a memorial service on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at her home.
