Eagle’s landing

Throughout the past week, many community members have had the experience of watching a bald eagle feeding on a discarded deer carcass on the frozen river near Tsi Snaihne (Snye).

The eagle has been chewing on the venison for several days, and many people have stopped along River Road to watch the beautiful and rare sight.
