AMBE Social held at AMS

The Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education held a social Wednesday afternoon at the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk School. Students crowded into the gym where volunteer singers gave students something to dance to. From the traditional Smoke Dance to the always fun Round Dance, every student had the opportunity to participate.

Members of the school’s girls’ singing group also had the chance to demonstrate what they’ve learned in the last couple of years participating in the Mohawk singing after school.
