    By Andy Gardner The Massena Raiders football team and Salmon River Shamrocks swim team lost respective matches to Gouverneur and St. Lawrence Central. The football game, played Friday, Oct. 11, ended in a 54-0 shutout. On the defensive side, Dylan Lazore made four tackles and Daryl Lazare contributed one. Massena quarterback Dominic Monacelli went 4-12 passing for 33 yards and threw two interceptions. He rushed 28 yards on 15 carries. Monacelli also made six tackles on defense.     By Andy Gardner Salmon River beat Massena by one goal in overtime on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Shea Scully scored for Massena in the 25th minute after taking a pass from Garrett Engstrom. Then in the 34th minute, Jared Showen tied the game on a play set up by Gavin Cook-Avery. In the 44th minute, Luke Von Borstel pushed Massena back out to a one-goal lead, but in the 79th minute Clayton Jones got the ball from Kade Cook and booted in a goal to force an overtime stanza.
