Last Saturday the Akwesasne Minor Wolves Peewee "B" team of the Lower St. Lawrence Minor League had a tight game going against the Charlan Rebels and narrowly escaped with a 7-6 win. They won the crown in back-to-back games against Chateaugay and then Canton on Friday, Nov. 8 in their home gym in Massena.     By Andy Gardner The Salmon River Shamrocks volleyball squadron had made it to the Section 10 Class B finals, but they were shut down by the No. 1 seeded Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils. The No. 2 seeded Shamrocks played against them on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at the SUNY Potsdam Maxcy Hall field house. OFA won the first two sets 25-16 and 25-14. The Massena boys and girls both lost to Malone in Section 10 Class A finals. The Salmon River boys lost to Canton in Section 10 Class B semifinals, all of which were played Wednesday, Oct. 30. They also voted to allow baseball to implement the 10-run rule with section or league permission.
