    On September 2, 2015, the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service began an investigation into the deaths of 2 men after the Seadoo they were travelling on capsized near the east end of Cornwall Island on the St. Lawrence River. Investigation has revealed that the 3 passengers on the Seadoo may have recently entered Canada from India. The names of the deceased cannot be released since their next of kin have yet to be located and notified. The driver of the Seadoo, Louis J.
