    Throughout this past week, October 16th to 20th, the Aboriginal Midwife Program held a one-week Doula training. The intensive training began Monday October 16th and continued until Friday October 20th. The individuals, who completed the 5-day training, can go further with their training to become a certified doula.     As of October 25, 2017, the academic staff at Ontario colleges is still on strike. Each college is unique and students affected are contacted daily with an update with information about their classes, programs, graduation and fees.
