    On July 11, 2024, the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service attempted to make a traffic stop in the district of Tsi Snaihne. The vehicle failed to stop for police. Two AMPS patrol cars were involved in the traffic stop attempt. While fleeing, the suspect vehicle and a patrol car made contact with each other.
