    The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to inform the community that residents who received a Common Experience Payment (CEP) for the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement (IRSSA) may be eligible for additional non-cash Personal Credits of up to $3,000 each for educational purposes. The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne has set up the Akwesasne Community Fund to provide financial support for community based, not-for-profit organizations and groups who are located and/or operate in the portion of Akwesasne coming under the jurisdiction of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne.
