Representatives from New York State Museum recently traveled to Akwesasne to purchase the photograph "Powwow Dancer 1" from Marjorie Skidders. Skidders met with Gwendolyn Saul, NYSM, at the Akwesasne Culture Museum to officially present the photo. Skidders said, "I'm so honored to have one of my photos in their permanent collection."
