Iohahi:io and the Akwesasne Area Management Board celebrated the completion of an 8-week evening Small Engine Maintenance and Repair program on December 3, 2018. The program was offered to interested community members and began on October 15, 2018. I would like to say “Niawenkowa” to Angello Johnson, Eric Johnson and their dad for teaching the pack basket class a few weeks ago. It amazes me that in 4 lessons what started as a log turned out to be a beautiful, hand-crafted pack basket.
