    The 96-year-old veteran, Levi Oakes, Akwesasne is the last surviving Mohawk code talker, according to the U.S. Congress. On Tuesday, December 4, Oakes was honored at the Assembly of First Nations and later in the day, received a standing ovation from the House of Commons.
