    MASSENA – A Massena man is in jail after being charged with murder on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Village police charged 38-year-old Robert Isaac Carr with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and tampering with evidence. He was arraigned by Town Justice Joe Brown and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in Canton without bail.     Kana:takon School held a Harvest Social this past week, complete with a harvest meal. Kana:takon School's art teacher Victoria Ransom, and her students worked on creating a Three Sisters mural. The mural was drawn by Ransom, with Kana:takon students painting and coloring it.     The New York State Education Department (SED) announced on Nov. 17th, of a recent legal decision to ensure that district mascots, team names, and logos are non-discriminatory.
