    This weekend fishermen from around Akwesasne competed in the Tackle Box’s Fall Classic Fishing Tournament. First place went to Norman King whose fish weighed in at 27.612 pounds. Second place was won by William Clute who weighed in fish totaling 25.287 pounds. Third place went to Adam Delormier who weighed in 25.187 pounds of fish.     Submitted by Karen Francis The Salmon River Shamrocks Girls Swim Team participated in the Section X sectional swim meet on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at SUNY Potsdam’s Maxcy Hall. Several swimmers received medals, ribbons, and achieved personal records in their events.
