The Akwesasne Attack went to Rochester this weekend to play in the fifth annual Flour City Face Off Tournament. The Akwesasne Attack U16 team came home undefeated in play. They are coached by Shane Francis and Trey Adams. It was packed in the Winter Ballroom at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort for the Fall Bridal Show on Sunday November 9. Almost 40 vendors filled the ballroom and even spilled into the hallway. On Saturday, November 8, the Akwesasne Basket Drive hosted a Turkey Trot, a 5K walk/run/stroll, at Generations Park. The trot raised money through registrations or participant pledges, and all the proceeds went to the Akwesasne Basket Drive. There were raffles, door prizes and refreshments; a shout out from organizers to Dunkin Donuts who donated coffee and donuts for the event.
