  • It happened already

    An Anonymous Mother|Nov 13, 2008

Just when I thought Halloween couldn’t have come any faster I was faced with Baby T’s birthday. I honestly feel like he just had his third birthday two months ago. Summer was over and fall was here so fast that it didn’t even really sink in that the cold weather signaled it was that time of year again. As always we needed a recreation hall for all our family and friends. Our home is way too small for more than a few people so sticking to what works in terms of space was established a long time ago. This year was a much mellower party. Baby...

  • Plastics: the what, how, and why to recycle from plastic clothes to fun crafts

    Dr Barbara Gray|Nov 13, 2008

That is why recycling and reusing plastics is a very important practice. Plastics are the fastest growing share of waste in the...

  • A Native Prayer

    Nov 13, 2008

O Great Creator, I come before you in a humble manner and offer you this sacred pipe. With tears in my eyes and an ancient song from my heart I pray. To the four powers of Creation, to the Grandfather Sun, to the Grandmother Moon, to the Mother Earth, and to my ancestors. I pray for my relations in Nature, all those who walk, crawl, fly, and swim, seen and unseen, to the good spirits that exist in every part of Creation. I ask that you bless our elders and children, families and friends, and the brothers and sisters who are in prison. I pray...
