  • AMBE Head Start students meet monthly reading goal

    The Head Start program of the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education has promoted family literacy by setting themselves a reading goal of 20 books per child each month this year. The students at AMS have agreed to have their parents, totas, aunts or uncles read to them at least 20 times a month, that averages to about a storybook every weeknight.
