At the September 25th work session, Tribal Council signed two resolutions to approve referendum questions on the Medical Marijuana Ordinance and Adult Use Marijuana Regulation. The referendum date will be December 14th. The last public meeting is being held at 5:00 p.m. in Ionkwakiohkwaroron Tribal Administration Building on November 13th. By Andy Gardner The Salmon River Shamrocks volleyball squadron had made it to the Section 10 Class B finals, but they were shut down by the No. 1 seeded Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils. The No. 2 seeded Shamrocks played against them on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at the SUNY Potsdam Maxcy Hall field house. OFA won the first two sets 25-16 and 25-14. By Andy Gardner Massena and Salmon River’s boys and girls soccer teams concluded their 2019 seasons in sectional playoffs. The Massena boys and girls both lost to Malone in Section 10 Class A finals. The Salmon River boys lost to Canton in Section 10 Class B semifinals, all of which were played Wednesday, Oct. 30. In the Salmon River game, Canton netted two goals in the second half for a 2-0 win.
