The Akwesasne Animal Society is sponsoring a pet vaccination clinic on Saturday, November 26, from 2:00pm-4:00pm only at Fluffy Tails Grooming & Pet Supplies, 1592 St. Rt. 37. Akwesasne residents pay $5 per vaccine and non-Akwesasne residents cost is $10 per vaccine. Vaccines available are rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Feline respiratory combo. Dominating performances week after week earned the Salmon River Boys Varsity Cross Country team a Section 10 Class C Championship title at Sectionals at Norwood-Norfolk. (Akwesasne) On Saturday, November 19, the family of the late Wallace Jacobs Sr. held their 3rd Annual Memorial Shuffleboard Turkey Shoot held at the American Legion Post 1479. The tournament is to honor Wally Jacobs Sr. and the love he had for the game of shuffleboard. This is also the third year the tournament had donated to the Akwesasne Epilepsy Support Group.
