    AKWESASNE. October 30, 2024. This afternoon, at approximately 5:20 PM, a fire broke out at the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club’s main clubhouse located on Roosevelt Town Road. All children and staff were safely evacuated, with no injuries reported. Thanks are extended to the Hogansburg-Akwesasne Volunteer Fire Department (HAVFD) and Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal PD for their quick and dedicated response.
