    AKWESASNE. October 30, 2024. This afternoon, at approximately 5:20 PM, a fire broke out at the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club’s main clubhouse located on Roosevelt Town Road. All children and staff were safely evacuated, with no injuries reported.     The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service have arrested and charged a 14-year-old youth with aggravated assault stemming from an incident that occurred in the early evening of October 31, 2024.
