Voting on it for the second time in as many months, the village board voted to spend $2,000 on an app that will broadcast public safety notifications and take police tips. The board voted 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 15 to spend $2,000 for one year on the Tip411 app. All of the board members present, Mayor Tim Currier, Deputy Mayor Matt Lebire and Trustee Christine Winston, voted in favor of it.
