Although the Wolves are seven games into the season, they had their first official home game on Saturday at Anowarako:wa Arena and beat Gananoque 5-4. Brock Daze, Ryan Thomas, Zack Sequin and Chris Wert scored for the Wolves. Akwesasne's Chelsea Sunday was chosen for Female Athlete of the Week for the week of October 6th -12th, for her outstanding performance in volleyball. The Bears weekly sports recap said, "Sunday had a strong performance this week. Tuesday night against St. Lawrence, Chelsea recorded 16 kills, one ace, 10 digs and one block. The Akwesasne Economic Development Agency (AEDA) will be starting an Adult Mohawk immersion program on November 3, 2014 until March 31, 2014. The Massena boys soccer squad came up with a win and a tie in their last two matches. On Friday, Oct. 17, they tied the Franklin Academy Huskies 1-1 in overtime. Dalton Mullin took a pass from Dylan Stone about 21 minutes in for Massena’s goal. After 8:45 in the second half, Carter Bietz posted F.A.’s point, unassisted.
