We went to Mcmaze this weekend. Little Brother and Grandma’s first time there. Big Brother was the old pro so he was our tour guide. We mostly followed Big Brother around the grounds as he showed what part was his favorite. He also explained how we couldn’t go into any of the scary areas like the spooky trail walk or the haunted barn. The grade 7 & 8 Kana:takon School students participated in a soccer tournament in Cornwall on October 8, 2009, competing against 4 other area schools. The girls team won 1 out of 4 games but played tremendously well. All girls put forth 150% effort for each game, and displayed good sportsmanship. The Akwesasne Lacrosse Hall of Fame Committee (ALHF) is pleased to announce the two Akwesasne inductees to the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame & Museum in St. Catharines, Ontario. The 2009 Akwesasne inductees are: Ronald “Rooney” Roundpoint, elected into the players’ category. Known to his family and friends as Rooney, he was a key member of the St. Regis Indians team.
