The National Sports Academy is a non-traditional prep school in Lake Placid, New York. The teams practice in the Olympic Centre where the 1980 Olympics and 1932 Olympics were held. There are currently two boys hockey teams at NSA. The Prep team plays a 50 game independent schedule made up of Midget AAA, high school, prep school, and Jr. B games. Akwesasne Eagles Youth Flag Football teams 1 & 2 traveled to Massena this past weekend to participate in the annual Massena youth football tournament. Eight regional teams competed in the youth K-2 flag football portion of the football events and both Akwesasne teams placed in the top 3. Akwesasne Team 2 coached by Evan Thompson, Karson Herne and Wade Mason went undefeated and won the overall championship.
