The Massena Red Raiders varsity football team took its first loss of the regular season in Ogdensburg, falling to the Blue Devils 25 – 20 after four quarters of play on Friday, Sept. 27. Massena standout JP Reagan scored on a 50-yard run on his first carry of the night, ultimately moving the ball 142 yards on 22 carries. The Salmon River girl’s varsity swim team made some waves last Friday night when it won its first NAC meet against Gouverneur, 48-46. The Lady Shamrocks claimed seven of the eleven events led by double event winners, eighth grader Lauren Martin and junior Abby Grant. The Lady Raiders volleyball team took a hard-fought loss to the Potsdam Sandstoners on Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Massena high school gym.
