    After a week of no home games the Salmon River Shamrocks were back on home turf to take on some strong NAC Section 10 opponents. Girls Soccer SRC-0, Canton-2 Janet Beaudin opened the scoring for the Golden Bears at the 18:53 mark, in the first half, off an assist by Mimi Husinec.     The hurrah on the local lacrosse scene took place last weekend but the top award went to Kahnawake. The Randall "Mann" Jacobs Memorial Lacrosse tournament was held at the Travis Solomon Memorial Box at Generations Park and teams came in from Tyendinaga and Kahnawake.     Governor Cuomo is reminding New Yorkers that they must register to vote by October 14 in order to cast ballots in the upcoming presidential election on Tuesday, November 8.     The Massena volleyball and football teams continued their thus-far undefeated 2016 seasons. Meanwhile, the girls soccer and swim teams added two wins to their records and the boys soccer team dropped their one match for the week.
