Community of Akwesasne, I'm thankful for another successful open house. We had a great turnout and I feel the families enjoyed having a spaghetti dinner available and meeting their child's teacher. Our cafeteria staff served 150+ meals and I would like to thank them for their service. Dr. Gwen Saul, Curator of Ethnology from the New York State Museum in Albany returned a model bark house to the Saint Regis Mohawk School. The model bark house was donated to the museum by a third-grade class in the early 1990's. The Saint Regis Mohawk School is unsure of which students took part in building the diorama.
