On Sunday, August 23, 2009, the Adams Memorial Golf Tournament was held at Cedar View Golf Course. It was a day that brought clouds, sunshine and rain but that did not keep the 72 registered golfers from carrying on to play for the benefit. The Biggest Loser Weight Loss Challenge is coming to Akwesasne. MCA’s Community Health Program, with funding from Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative, developed their own version of the hit TV show calling it The 3 Districts “Biggest Loser” Challenge.
