    On September 14, 2023, at approximately 5:00 PM The Akwesasne Mohawk Police received information of a Human Smuggling event involving a Columbian National who was attempting to get into Canada from the United States illegally.     Cornwall – Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is advising users of the St. Lawrence River that there will be maintenance activity at the Iroquois Control Dam from Sept. 22 to Oct. 30, 2023. River users will notice additional maintenance activity during this time, specifically between Gates 15 and 20.
