    Lady Raiders The Massena Lady Raiders swim squad took first place in all but one event during their Friday, Sept. 11 contest with the Salmon River Shamrocks for a 62-32 final score. Salmon River's lone top finish went to Caroline Russell in the 100-meter freestyle, tallying a 1:05.51. For Massena, Sydney Lewis took first in the 200-meter freestyle with 2:32.08. Sheyenne Hays won the 200-meter individual medley in 2:44.14. Sydnee Carroll claimed the 50-meter freestyle, clocking 28.82 seconds....

The Teams were from: Canada/Atlantic-Team Quebec C-Lax Jr. All Stars Canada West Czech Jr. Team Nordic Deutschland Iroquois East Iroquois West Iroquois Seneca Team Israel Squamish Nation Team USA Friday's games: The first game was Iroquois East vs. Squamish Nation.   • Akwesasne Women's Soccer

    Last weekend the constant rain forced the Akwesasne Powwow indoors where it successfully went off. However, the Women's Soccer league could not move inside and the rain stopped a few hours before their start time and the games went on at Generations Park where Sergi's defeated the Arrows 4-3. Other games were held at Salmon River where the Stars beat the Smoking Aces 12-7 and Hilltop Inflatables beat the Fireballs 7-0....

  • Grand Opening Ceremonies for the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships

    Syracuse, NY – September 8th, 2015 – Lacrosse is coming home. For the first time ever, the FIL (Federation of International Lacrosse) will hold the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships (WILC) at the home of the game: The Onondaga Nation, capital of the Iroquois Confederacy. The start of the 2015 Games will commence at 7 PM EST at the War Memorial Arena in downtown Syracuse, with a spectacular Opening Ceremony and Iroquois vs. USA game on September 18th.
