    The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is following the Davis-CBSA tribunal and awaiting the outcome along with the rest of Akwesasronon. MCA has also filed several complaints with the Canadian Human Rights Commission against CBSA for human rights violations.     On Saturday, CKON celebrated a Loyal Listener Appreciation Day. It was held at HAVFD #1 and hundreds came out for the event.     The CKON Loyal Listener’s Appreciation Day was a success according to several participants at the event. “It’s so nice to think about something other than the passing of our community members,” said one community member.
