    The Akwesasne Freedom School Survival Race was an extreme test of endurance for the five participating teams. The race took place on Saturday morning starting at 9:00am in Raquette Point with the swimmers being brought out into the middle of the river and having to swim the long distance to shore.     A young couple who live in Ganienkeh died Sunday night as their car plunged into the Great Chazy River. Mikita Fox, 23, of Wikwemikong, Ontario and Danine R. Swamp, 24, of Onondaga, were identified Monday afternoon.
