    Two locals are charged with possession of cocaine after allegedly being found with more than 11 kilograms of cocaine. Localsyr.com is reporting that Louie Lazore and Thomas Roundpoint were pulled over around 3 p.m. Aug. 24. Police had received a tip that a white Ford F350 would be transporting drugs along I-81 South, the website reported. Troopers told localsyr.com that Lazore claimed to be driving to the state fair and gave police permission to search the truck.     The community was invited to attend the 20th Anniversary of Thompson Island Cultural Camp, also known as Ionkwa'nikonri:io, on August 23rd, 2017.
