  • Book: Love the One You’re With

    Delia McDonald|Aug 28, 2008

The book review this week is of an author that I’ve read numerous times and have really enjoyed her style and detail. Love the One You’re With is about a woman who has to choose between the man who broke her heart and the man who patched her back up again. Ellen runs into her former boyfriend Leo in the streets of New York and is stopped cold. She is bombarded with old memories, some wonderful and others terrifyingly painful. Though Ellen has Andy, her husband of a year, she finds herself thinking about Leo more and more since they passed eac...

    Adrian McDonald|Aug 28, 2008

Every year the Adams family gets together for a day of golfing to see each other and visit. This year the tournament was expanded to benefit Morris Adams who is battling cancer. The rules of the tournament were simple, each team had to have a member of the Adams family in it. The tournament was organized by Veronica Adams and her daughters Wendy, Sheila and Sabrina Adams. Helping them were Margaret Thomas, Gloria Herne, Shelly Rourke, Michelle Laffin and many others. It seemed completely chaotic...

Louie Jackson of Akwesasne picked up his second win in a row this past Thursday night at Mohawk International Raceway. Jody Swamp and Travis Back started on the front row with Swamp getting the early lead. Louie Jackson, who started third on the grid, quickly moved into second right behind Swamp and on lap #3 was able to get by Swamp for the top spot.
