With the weather so unpredictable these days the community has had to deal with high winds, downpours, and high temperatures leading to electrical and thunder storms. The weather has caused damage in the community especially with downed trees and limbs from the winds and electrical (lightning) storms. I liked Calypso, and I liked whenever we played kick-ball and I had fun. The things I had funnest with were doing activities like art room, computer lab and Zumba. Its fun when we went to the Wild Center, I liked it when we saw the river otters. The Boys & Girls Club is the funnest to be at. It’s fun to play around with Korin. This week’s elder friend is Freeman Lazore who was born in the Fall of 1912 and is a resident of Raquette Point, Ahkwesahsne. Freeman is mostly a man who will speak his mind and lives quietly in his home on Oakes Rd, with a very interesting story with details about the Era of the Depression.
