The long awaited Akwesasne Coalition of Community Empowerment's Family Color Run finally took place on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Colby is the son of Val Dishaw and Jarrod Jacobs and is from Akwesasne. Colby was diagnosed in September 2016 with leukemia and has been battling this disease every day since.
