    COWICHAN, B.C. - It was a day 11 years in the making as the Team Kahnawake wrestling team reclaimed the coveted Todd Diabo Trophy as the best team in the competition.     North Country Sports Womens Summer Soccer Play offs took place on August 12 at SUNY Potsdam. They played against Massena’s Corkys Collision –Dr. Scruggs but fell to a score of 2-1.     Best of luck and congratulations to the Akwesasne Storm Midget Lacrosse Team, who will be participating in the Midget “A” provincials which will be held at the Ontario Summer Games in Ottawa, Ontario August 14-16, 2008.  This year the team was rated in the “A” division of lacrosse, playing the best “A” teams of Ontario.     Akwesasne Storm Tyke Lacrosse team traveled to Whitby, Ontario for the Provincials tournament. On Sunday August 3rd, Akwesasne Tyke beat Brantford 9-2. That afternoon, Akwesasne played Guelph, upsetting them 13-0. On Monday August 4th, Akwesasne played Whitby in a hard fought game that ended in a 7-7 tie.
