Bell Canada had requested to study the feasibility of providing fibre optics to the homes within the districts of Kawehno:ke, Kana:takon, and Tsi Snaihne. The study has been completed. Last week Mad Joes had a late rally but came up short against the local club in a 14-12 game. After suffering a crushing 89-0 road loss to the Watertown Red and Black, the Seaway Valley Venom returned home to Mike Nicholas Field and fell 56-0 to the Glens Falls Greenjackets. For the second year in a row the St. Regis River was filled with homemade rafts, boats, Seadoos and lots of laughter as the American Legion Post #1479 in Hogansburg held their regatta last weekend. The benefit was for April Benedict and her medical expenses.
