Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Strategic Plan has identified priorities within the territory of Akwesasne, which includes modernization technology. The Three Nations Lacrosse League semi-finals had Tyendinaga meeting the Caughnawaga Indians in a neutral site game last Saturday.     Last week Mad Joes had a late rally but came up short against the local club in a 14-12 game. The Legion held a comfortable 14-7 lead going into the seventh inning but Mad Joes bats came alive and they scored five runs to fall just short.     After suffering a crushing 89-0 road loss to the Watertown Red and Black, the Seaway Valley Venom returned home to Mike Nicholas Field and fell 56-0 to the Glens Falls Greenjackets.     For the second year in a row the St. Regis River was filled with homemade rafts, boats, Seadoos and lots of laughter as the American Legion Post #1479 in Hogansburg held their regatta last weekend. The benefit was for April Benedict and her medical expenses. Some of the boats were thrown together in a few days while others were welded and bolted together over the winter in garages around the territory.
