    Kahontiio Lazore is quite the hockey fan and player. He recently completed a hockey camp that his mom, Cami White registered him for about one year ago. Cami saw the ad and thought she’d give it a try and apply. The camp ran from July 18-22 in Burlington, Vermont and she was surprised when she received word that her son Kahontiio had been selected for the camp because the process was so competitive.     The Akwesasne Freedom School’s first online quilt auction closed on bidding this past Monday with the successful bid going to Cindy Lazore for $400. The AFS Parent Committee had chosen the quilt during an organizing meeting for the Annual Dinner, which is being held on August 27 and 28. The quilt that was auctioned off was one of three that remained unpaid from last-years fundraiser.     The Kahnawake Peacekeepers are investigating a home invasion and robbery this past weekend. Peacekeepers were called to a house near the Catholic Cemetery around 1 a.m. on Sunday morning. Peacekeepers say four armed men tied up the elderly woman who lived in the house.
