    On Friday, August 4th, 2017 the community of Akwesasne gathered together to clean out our rivers and shorelines. The entire community was invited to participate in the Great Akwesasne River Cleanup and the turnout was remarkable. The event was the first Akwesasne community-wide river clean up.     MASSENA -- Village police are seeking a Hogansburg man who is wanted on an arrest warrant stemming from his alleged involvement in an Aug. 3 shooting and stabbing in Massena. Richard A.     On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, the 6th annual breastfeeding walk took place at the Generations Park. This year was different, as it was a breastfeeding poker walk. Registration took place at 5:00-5:30 pm, with a meal provided at 6:00 pm. Participants had the opportunity to visit the different programs that were set up.
