    The Akwesasne Storm Minor Lacrosse Association’s youngest players celebrated the end of the 2008 season on Saturday. The team of players born in 2002 or 2003 welcomed their Kahnawake opponents to the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena for their last game.     The Akwesasne Sports Women’s Soccer Team played against Heuvelton on August 5th on their home field. The Sports Ladies won this game with a score of 3-1. Rhonda Mitchell, coach and goalie, made 9 saves for the victory. Goals were made by Alley Bero, Shannon Lazore and Steevi Burley. One more game to go before play-offs begin. The Akwesasne Jr. A Indians, only in their second year, reached the final game in their semi-final effort, but losing 4-0 for the best out of 7.
