The Akwesasne Indians will compete for the Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League’s top honor, the Founders Cup and a fundraiser is underway to get them there. Despite a championship game played in almost total darkness, there were lots of home runs and laughs at the Fifth Annual Event and it was as successful as ever. Last weekend at Buck White's field a large crowd turned out to support their favorite teams and also the fight against cancer. To meet such a happy team is so uplifting and more so to have them return home with a Bronze win. Their story was so enjoyable to hear about and an over-all positive attitude from the team members.
