One very important lesson we try to teach the boys is honesty. To always own up to their messes and be honest. We tell the boys that their word matters so much to us and that we want to know we can trust them when it comes down to them being able to tell us the truth. The second annual Tsikionhet Onkwawen:na tanon Tsiniionkwariho:ten youth camp was held on Thompson Island last week, from July 22-26. The event featured workshops led by local agencies aimed at providing the youth with healthy messages and skills. The camp was open to youth ages 14-17. A lunch started off the Student Bursary Presentation at Iohahiio on Monday afternoon, complete with dessert. Chief Abram Benedict opened the presentation congratulating the students and thanking the sponsors, Enbridge Gas and Bank of Montreal, for their years of partnership.
