These are just stats on paper. The team effort showed every time our team stepped on the floor. The team had to make a major adjustment with playing the 3 20-minute stop time periods as compared to 3 15-minute run time periods as in OLA minor lacrosse that they are playing now. This...

    AKWESASNE - The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council and Police Commission has learned that New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo has signed legislation yesterday that permanently expands the jurisdiction of the Tribal Police Department.     Swamp's Performance held their 5th Annual Cruisin' for Kids Car & Bike Show which took place at the old IGA parking lot, on July 22nd 2017. The event began at approximately 10 am with the car and bike registration. There were also a number of vendors set up for the event. Each vehicle had to pay a $5.00 registration fee, which allowed the owner of the vehicles to be entered into a contest for top 10 cars or top 3 bikes.     The Ironworkers Festival returned for its 15th year and after a day of fun and competition, crowned their Ultimate Ironworker. This year's title went to Tom Banister of Local 6, Buffalo.     Nia:wen Kowa to the Akwesasne Community Trust Last year, the Akwesasne Community Settlement Trust approved the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Housing application for three housing improvement projects.
